Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for our client’s facility in Tembisa. You will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain peak hygiene and safety standards, contributing to a positive and safe working atmosphere.

The role requires reliability, proactivity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Training on advanced sanitation practices and equipment usage is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or sanitation roles.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness in all tasks.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in offices, workshops, and public spaces.
• Sanitize equipment and surfaces using approved chemicals and methods.
• Manage waste collection and disposal in line with local regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure sanitation requirements are met.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
