Job Description

Old Mutual Finance was established in 2008 to provide unsecured lending products and services to the SA market. The business started with a staff compliment of 34 and has since grown to over 3000 staff with more than 300 branches nationally. Within our branches we offer insurance, lending products as well as servicing.

We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Consultant. This role will report into the OMF Talent Acquisition Manager. This role collaborates with all levels of Management and is responsible for implementing the Talent Acquisition strategy through meeting the business demand of talent acquisition needs. Individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of 3 months – 1 year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver recruitment for Sales and Distribution roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (30–60 roles per month).

  • Create an exceptional candidate experience aligned to OMF values and culture.

  • Manage shifting priorities and tight timelines with urgency and resilience.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Area Managers. Branch Managers, HR Business Partners) and external partners.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data, generate regular and ad hoc reports, and use analytics to drive improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with governance, policy, and risk requirements.

  • Support Talent Acquisition leadership with execution of portfolio plans and process enhancements.

  • Proactively pipeline talent, enhance employer branding, and adopt innovative recruitment strategies.

  • Oversee smooth integration of new hires from attraction to onboarding, ensuring a consistent and positive employee journey.

Education:

  • Matriculation Certificate (Required)

  • HC related qualification


Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably recruiting for high-volume, fast-paced environments.

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in the FS industry is preferred

  • Knowledge of HC policies and processes

  • Experience with Workday as Talent Acquisition system

  • Experience in managing SLAs and HC TA issue resolution
