Job Description

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial education, and achieving lending, servicing, transactional banking, and insurance sales targets through marketing and selling Old Mutual products.

The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

1. Meet monthly sales targets in lending, transactional banking, and insurance.
2. Service existing Old Mutual policies, including facilitating claims and addressing customer complaints to meet NPS requirements.
3. Check loan application documentation for accuracy, authenticity, compliance, and completeness.
4. Accurately capture all client information on Summit as per loan application and supporting documents.
5. Suspend or reject loan applications as needed and re-quote when required.
6. Report suspicious or fraudulent loan documents to the Branch Manager.
7. Explain the Loan Application Process to clients to facilitate understanding.
8. Explain terms and conditions of Old Mutual Finance Products to clients.
9. Issue copies of Contracts/Agreements to clients.
10. Print loan agreements for client signatures.
11. Correct altered loan application information and reprint for signatures.
12. Follow up on clients with missed installments.
13. Meet collection and arrears targets.
14. Educate clients on responsible credit use and money management.
15. Establish new business pipelines through marketing, lead generation, and cross-selling.
16. Adhere to regulatory and legislative standards to ensure quality and mitigate risks.
17. Facilitate intra-branch referrals by building relationships with other business units.
18. Provide excellent face-to-face and telephonic customer service.
19. Project a professional image by adhering to dress code, housekeeping, and conduct standards.
20. Build sustainable relationships to enhance the brand.
21. Deliver daily production standards and maintain service quality.
22. Process lending products and verify required information.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF level 4
• Minimum of 1 year sales or service experience, preferably in retail, banking, or financial industries
