Job summary

Old Mutual Limited in Pretoria is seeking a telesales professional to promote Old Mutual Finance products to individual clients. You will drive outbound calls, handle inbound inquiries, and ensure timely, compliant service while meeting defined productivity and quality standards.

You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing time and output, and expanding product knowledge to broaden skills. Matric and a minimum of 6 months experience in financial/services sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matriculation (Grade 12)
• 6+ months sales/call centre experience in financial/sales/retail
• Strong client focus and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Makes outbound calls as per predetermined schedules and gathers relevant information
• Receives inbound calls and handles client queries
• Finalises loan applications telephonically
• Deals with clients' queries while maintaining productivity standards
• Finalises call at point of contact where possible

Job Description

Responsible for telesales of Old Mutual Finance products to individual clients in the micro-lending mass market. Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and adheres to business, process and compliance rules. Requires adaptability and the ability to perform under pressure as well as exceptional interaction, time management and telephonic skills.

Client Service Delivery

• Makes outbound calls in accordance with predetermined schedules and gathers relevant information.
• Receives inbound calls
• Finalisescall at point of contact where possible
• Deals with clients queries via telephone in adherence with productivity standards
• Finalisescomplete loan application telephonically

Compliance

• Adheres to service and quality standards.

Marketing

• Telesales of OMF products to individual clients.

Personal Effectiveness

• Accountable for productivity delivery through own efforts.
• Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.
• Accountable for individual sales targets, branch operations and service delivery through own efforts
• Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.
