Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Oilfield Operations Manager to lead all field operations from their Port Elizabeth hub. This senior role requires a proven track record in managing complex oilfield activities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

You will direct resource allocation, mentor field personnel, and develop strategic plans to meet production targets, with oversight of drilling, completions, production, and maintenance in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in oilfield operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling, completions, production, and maintenance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects in challenging environments.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and risk management skills.
