Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Offshore Mechanic experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Accredited Diploma qualification is compulsory.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair mechanical production equipment and pipelay equipment.
  • Report to the Mechanic Foreman Offshore and other functions as needed.

Job description

This esteemed organization is seeking your exceptional skills as an Offshore Mechanic to carry out maintenance and repair of all the mechanical production equipment in a safe manner for various Offshore Vessels based Worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out maintenance and repair of all the mechanical production equipment and of all pipelay equipment in a safe manner.
  2. Carry out the maintenance of the cranes and winches.
  3. Carry out the maintenance and repair of the ILT, Hydraulic and diesel hammer, pumps of Hydraulic power pack, air compressor and diesel engines.
  4. Report to the Mechanic Foreman Offshore. At the discretion of the Chief Engineer, may report to other functions onboard the vessel.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
  1. Accredited Diploma qualification. (Compulsory)
  2. Minimum 5 years’ Offshore Mechanic experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
  3. Must have Offshore Vessel experience.
  4. Must have a Seamans Book with Bosiet.
  5. Fluent English language.
