Overview

A world-class offshore EPCI contractor is hiring Offshore Construction Engineers to support execution of major projects. Their management team will be in Cape Town this October for interviews with shortlisted applicants.

Duties
  • Support OCM in offshore execution planning and preparation of project deliverables.
  • Review drawings and engineering documents for constructability.
  • Assist in procurement of offshore project materials and coordinate with supply chain.
  • Prepare and review mobilization plans for offshore operations.
  • Maintain and update project risk assessment registers.
  • Monitor fabrication progress and offshore readiness.
  • Coordinate with barge superintendents, field engineers, and marine warranty surveyors.
  • Support preparation of technical procedures and reports.
  • Attend offshore daily meetings and provide input on progress.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and HSE compliance during all activities.
  • Support preparation of project close-out dossiers and documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Engineering.
  • 4+ years’ offshore construction experience.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore operations.
  • Team-oriented with problem-solving ability.
