Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy Officer, Relationship Trust to join our esteemed financial institution in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships whilst ensuring the effective administration of trust accounts and estate planning services.

  1. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with trust clients and their families
  2. Provide expert advice on trust structures, estate planning, and wealth management strategies
  3. Analyse and assess clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate trust solutions
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant trust laws, regulations, and internal policies
  5. Collaborate with legal and tax professionals to implement complex trust arrangements
  6. Monitor and review trust portfolios, making informed investment decisions
  7. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and proposals to clients
  8. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the trust portfolio
  9. Act as a key point of contact for high-net-worth individuals and families
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in trust management
Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Professional certifications in trust management or financial planning
Required Experience

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in trust management or related financial services
