Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking an Officer Procurement (NTCSA) in the Megawatt Park area. The role focuses on efficient and effective procurement of goods and services, within budget and policy, to meet project needs.

The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Commerce or Supply Chain Management, with SAP MM and spend analysis knowledge, and proven strategic thinking and negotiation skills. Permanent, market-related remuneration, based at Sunninghill/Megawatt Park.

Qualifications

• National Diploma / NQF6 in Commerce or Transport Logistics & Supply Chain Management with 240 credits.
• Experience with SAP MM and spend analysis is preferred.
• Knowledge of SEC Family Contracts, FIDIC contracts and Forex beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes and follow prescribed procedures towards fulfilling procurement needs.
• Execute purchases of goods and services and manage procurement administration.
• Negotiate and coordinates conclusion of agreement with suppliers to meet customer expectations.
• Perform dual adjudication of tenders and management of contracts/purchases orders within set policies and standards.
• Access, analyse procurement information independently.
• Use own discretion to manage problems / risks and make recommendations timeously.
• Build and maintain healthy interpersonal and inter-team relationships.
