Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Management Services or related field and a valid Driver’s license.
- Four (04) years as a Human resources generalist in a municipal environment.
- Proven work experience as an HR business partner or similar position.
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills at Intermediate to advanced level in MS Excel, MS Word; MS PowerPoint; Outlook; SAP.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
Key performance areas
- HR internal consultancy and advisory services in areas of HR policies and regulations; change management; employee relations and performance management support.
- Human Resources Planning and Reporting.
- Human Resources Administration.
- Talent Acquisition and retention, mainly supporting allocated line functions on provision of recruitment, selection and placement services.
- Responsible for enhancing and maintaining relationship building by conducting and facilitating HR policies workshops with staff and organised labour and facilitation of induction programmes in conjunction with Training and Development section.
