Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Overseeing overall operation of the restaurant / take-away.
  2. Ensuring quality standards of food and PEDROS Standard Operating Procedures are maintained.
  3. Overseeing and managing stock control, purchasing, and orders.
  4. Dealing with customer complaints and maintaining customer service levels of the restaurant / take-away.
  5. Maximising profitability and meeting sales and GP% targets, including motivating staff to do so.
  6. Managing staff including discipline and work rosters.
  7. Work within a team and drive the restaurant / take-away forward.
  8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  9. Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are conducted at the store.
  10. Marketing activities – to ensure that promotion and incentive programmes are introduced at the store.
  11. Customer service relations management – handling of customer service complaints and ensuring complaints are handled within the required time frame.
  12. People management – ensure training programmes are in place for staff development and to maintain and carry out regular structured staff meetings at the store.
  13. Recruitment and selection – leading, training, and monitoring the performance of the team in the store to increase productivity and profitability.
  14. Performance evaluation of staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Restaurant and Fast-Food Service experience.
  2. Minimum 3 years related experience required.
  3. GAAP experience and knowledge - Advantageous.
  4. Management skills.
  5. Organizational skills.
  6. Customer service and good verbal communication skills.
  7. Problem-solving skills.
