Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Finance Administrator to support our client’s team with a mix of general administration, basic bookkeeping, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of office procedures and financial processes, especially in working with Sage Pastel, bank reconciliations, and SARS compliance. Client Communication
  • Handle email correspondence, inquiries, and collect client feedback

Financial Administration
  • Process journals from bank statements

  • Allocate debtor and creditor payments

  • Manage the cashbook up to trial balance

  • Perform bank statement reconciliations

  • Utilize Sage Pastel for daily accounting entries

Compliance & Tax Administration
  • Handle SARS submissions and ensure tax compliance

  • Maintain accurate records to ensure audit readiness

Inventory & Supplies
  • Monitor stock levels and manage supply orders

Document Control
  • Prepare contracts, invoices, and manage digital filing systems

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in administration and basic bookkeeping

  • Working knowledge of Sage Pastel or similar accounting software

  • Familiarity with SARS submissions and general compliance processes

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Afrikaans speaking preferred
