Job summary

Pt Operational Services is seeking a reliable cleaner for Carousel Toll Plaza area. You will maintain the office, restrooms, kitchen and reception spaces, and provide refreshments for management and visitors.

The role requires Grade 10 and in-house training, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely. This is an on-site position at the N1 Highway toll plaza in the Northwest region.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 minimum qualification with in-house training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and MSDS.
• Ability to operate and handle heavy electrical/motor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean the office building and cutlery as per the cleaning programme at the office.
• Comply with Health and Safety legislation and policies and procedures.
• Ensure cleaning of machinery and chemicals used are as per supplier’s specification and material data sheets, kept clean and locked away when not in use.
• Ensure refreshments are always locked away.
• Cleaning of the office toilets as per the cleaning programme at the office.
• Cleaning of the kitchen and chill room area.
• Responsible for taking stock of office cleaning materials.
• Prepare of the boardrooms with coffee/ tea and refreshments.
