Office Automation Sales Rep – Fourways, Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective clients to promote and sell ICT and office automation products and services.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on the latest ICT and office automation technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, information technology, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Sales Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the ICT or office automation industries.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of ICT and office automation products and services, including copiers, printers, and related technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and the ability to work independently.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and address client needs effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ICT-based solutions and connectivity knowledge of multifunctional printer (MFP) products is beneficial.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in ICT or sales methodologies are advantageous.
  • Additional Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license and own vehicle is often required for client visits and sales activities.
