Job description

Role Purpose

The Office Administrator plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, managing supplier interactions, supporting management with day-to-day functions, and ensuring the effective coordination of office tasks and resources.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (essential)
  • Must reside in or near Centurion
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (read, write, and speak)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Previous office administration experience in a mining or technical environment will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Office Manager, assisting with routine tasks and responsibilities
  • Report to both the Office Manager and Financial Manager
  • Accurate and timeous data capturing and record-keeping using Microsoft Excel
  • Process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and monitor delivery timelines
  • Perform supplier reconciliations, matching PODs and invoices for month-end processing
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including flight and accommodation bookings
  • Handle general office duties, such as filing, stationery orders, phone handling, and ad-hoc requests
