We're Hiring: Office Administrator with Health & Safety Experience

Location: 61 Jacoba Rd, Alberton, Johannesburg

Type: Full-Time

S.A.M.E. is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team.

This role requires a proactive individual with at least 2 years' experience in Health & Safety.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of both the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA). You will support our General Manager and the Head of Business Development & Systems with daily administrative tasks, vendor applications, and coordination duties across departments.

  • Support general office administration and document management
  • Assist with Health & Safety compliance and documentation (OHSA and MHSA)
  • Help with vendor registrations and applications
  • Provide administrative support to the GM and the Head of Business Development & Systems
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, and schedules
  • Handle data entry, reporting, and document filing using Microsoft tools

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Health & Safety administration
  • Reasonable working knowledge of OHSA and MHSA
  • Proven office administration experience
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
  • Ability to work independently and support a multi-disciplinary team
