Job description

Our Therapy Group Practice at Nurture Alberton in Gauteng is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team.

Requirements :
  1. Degree in Occupational Therapy
  2. Current HPSCA registration and Malpractice Insurance
  3. 3 or more years of experience in a rehabilitation environment post-Community Service (ComServ)
  4. Basic seating training
  5. Special interest or expertise in neurology, orthopedics, and cognitive rehabilitation
  6. Good written and spoken English skills
  7. Awareness of evidence-based interventions
  8. Computer literacy (medical reports and Microsoft Office Suite)
  9. Ability to prioritize workload
  10. Ability to determine clinical diagnosis and develop occupational therapy treatment plans as an autonomous practitioner
  11. Diagnosis assessment and management of patients with disabling conditions on inpatient and outpatient basis
  12. Develop appropriate care packages and provide clinical and professional advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
  13. Responsible for occupational therapy treatment
  14. Serve as a source of expertise and advice for support staff
  15. Willingness to work on weekends / public holidays on rotation
Remuneration

Minimum Salary : RCTC (including benefits)
