Lyra Southern Africa is recruiting an Occupational Medical Practitioner based in South Africa. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the company's growth strategies in diversified services and innovation, serving as a role model for expected behaviors and attitudes.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Line / Department Management:
    • Manage the Executive Wellbeing Centre, including clinical and operational aspects of executive wellbeing medical services.
    • Oversee Occupational Performance Solutions, handling incapacity, disability, fitness for work, sick leave verification, and functional capacity cases for corporate clients' employees.
    • Provide Musculoskeletal Care (MSK) services through in-person and telephonic care, webinars, ergonomic assessments, and applications.
  2. Business Development:
    • Create and implement sales strategies, build a client pipeline, and engage potential clients to meet Lyra SA's sales targets.
    • Identify market trends to develop compelling value propositions for new or additional sales opportunities.
    • Ensure high-quality proposals and presentations for client engagement.
    • Support all sales processes, including monitoring and forecasting sales performance.
    • Identify new product offerings and go-to-market strategies to support growth and diversification.
    • Represent Lyra in client presentations and develop alliances with third-party providers.
  3. Performance Management and Training:
    • Coach and mentor team members to meet performance targets.
    • Organize training and workshops.
    • Ensure team members represent the company professionally.
    • Develop and maintain client relationships as an expert resource.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to automate reporting and provide meaningful insights to clients.
Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor, preferably with a diploma or Master's in Occupational Health.
  • Postgraduate qualification in business administration or an MBA is advantageous.
