Our client has an EE opportunity available for an Occupational Health Specialist.

Requirements
  • Nursing degree.
  • 5+ years Nursing experience.
  • 5+ years Occupational Health and Hygiene experience in a construction, mining, engineering, petrochemical, etc. environment.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and hygiene related processes, systems, health risk assessments, and risk controls.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • OHS Act and COID Act occupational health and medicine requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Manage group occupational health and hygiene policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Manage the internal health process and legal compliance audit programs.
  • Manage a substance abuse management program and manage the drug testing laboratory contract.
  • Manage the occupational health service provider contract.
  • Provide expert support and advise in occupational health and illness investigations.
  • Manage occupational medical assessments.
  • Conduct periodic site appraisals and recommend actions to ensure a healthy work environment.
  • Provide health statistic reports.
