Occupational Health Nurse

Exciting opportunities exist for an Occupational Health Nurse to work in an Occupational Health Clinic in Gqeberha, reporting to Business Manager, Lezinda Scholtz.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality occupational and primary healthcare services that are effective, efficient, and exceed customer expectations.

Position Details

Facility: Life West Coast

Function: Nursing

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in an onsite clinic offering occupational and primary healthcare services.
  • Manage client contracts on site.
  • Develop and implement occupational health programs.
  • Achieve targets set in occupational health and quality programs.
  • Fulfill quality audit requirements for the site.
  • Initiate and manage health projects on site.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Deliver high-quality healthcare services.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  • Adhere to professional and quality standards of Life Health Solutions and the client.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse with the SANC.
  • Additional qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Additional qualifications in Audiometry, Spirometry, and Vision Screening.
  • Qualification in Dispensing.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, administration, employee relations, and communication.
  • Results-oriented with initiative and ability to deliver quality outputs while reducing costs.
  • Competent in emergency first aid.
  • Own transport.
  • Proof of updated Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Availability for standby and call-out duties.
