Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Briefing Principal Contractor and their contractor on OHS requirements and safety considerations
2. Overall supervision and responsibility for OH&S
3. Acting as a link between Client Principal Contractor and project team members for Health & Safety
4. Maintaining good H&S practices throughout project duration
5. Facilitating preparation, implementation, and maintenance of health & safety plan
6. Ensuring appropriate means for Health & Safety incident/accident reporting & investigations
7. Conducting monthly audits
8. Ensuring adherence to Site Rules, restrictions, and Covid-19 regulations
9. Facilitating appointment of Health & Safety Representatives and outlining their duties
10. Facilitating training & awareness programmes on safety issues
11. Conducting training & induction, including site-specific induction training

Requirements

• B Degree (NQF 7) in Safety or related qualifications / National diploma (NQF 6) in Safety or related
• 7 or more years of experience
