Role Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Nutritionist or Dietitian to join the GutSlim team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering the "Gut Feeling Transformation" program to our clients. You will provide personalised nutrition and wellness coaching, leveraging the Foodzilla platform (https://foodzilla.io) to manage client journeys focused on gut health optimisation, sustainable weight management, and overall well-being. You will work closely with clients to develop tailored meal plans, provide guidance on food choices and exercise, monitor progress (including "non-scale victories" like improved energy and digestion ), and offer ongoing support aligned with GutSlim's core principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their health history, goals, lifestyle, and relationship with food.
• Develop personalised nutrition plans focusing on gut health optimisation, sustainable weight management, and holistic wellness, aligned with the GutSlim philosophy.
• Utilise the Foodzilla white-label app to create and manage client meal plans, track food intake, monitor progress, and facilitate communication.
• Provide evidence-based guidance on diet, portion control, mindful eating, hydration, and appropriate physical activity.
• Educate clients on the principles of gut health and its connection to overall well-being and weight management, simplifying scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
• Monitor client progress, focusing on both weight management outcomes and "non-scale victories" such as improved digestion, energy levels, mood, and reduced bloating.
• Offer ongoing coaching, support, and motivation to help clients navigate challenges and stay committed to their "Gut Feeling Transformation" journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records within the Foodzilla platform.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in nutrition, dietetics, gut health, and weight management.
• Potentially contribute to creating educational content (e.g., articles, tips) aligned with GutSlim's "edutainment" strategy.
• Collaborate with the wider GutSlim team to ensure a cohesive client experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nutritionist status with the relevant professional body in South Africa (e.g., HPCSA).
• Proven experience in nutritional counselling, particularly in weight management, and ideally with a focus on gut health or holistic wellness.
• Experience using nutrition software; specific experience with Foodzilla is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the gut microbiome and its role in health and disease.

• Ability to translate complex nutritional science into practical, easy-to-understand advice.
• Proficiency in using digital health platforms and technology (specifically Foodzilla).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
