Unicare seeks a Nursing Practitioner to join the 24hr Pharmacy clinic in Schuinvilla, Gqeberha. The role focuses on delivering professional clinic services, promoting care, and building a loyal client base while ensuring secure records and compliant administration.

The position requires at least 3 years in nursing, with SANC registration and a 3-year Diploma (or 4-year degree). You will support primary health care, immunisations, weight management, and related services in a busy retail health

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and Midwifery
• Essential: Registered Nursing Practitioner with SANC
• Essential: 3 year Diploma in Nursing or the 4 year degree

Responsabilités

• Establish and grow a loyal client base through effective promotion of the Clinic’s services to customers and by delivering high standards of patient care and customer service
• Provide a multitude of clinic services including lifestyle management screenings, well baby clinics, immunisations, baby health monitoring, reproductive health services, adult immunisations, primary health care and phlebotomy service
• Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate
• Ensure patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on electronic systems and that payment is received for services
• Ensure efficient clinic operations through administration, booking locums and timely reporting on financial and stock management
• Monitor stock, prevent loss and shrinkage, manage cold chain and safety precautions for medical supplies
• Establish health professional networks to enhance clinic services and offerings
• Plan and implement Health Days and other projects to improve customer offering
• Manage adverse events and emergencies professionally and effectively
