Job summary

Clicks Group seeks a qualified nurse to manage a clinic in Centurion and deliver a range of primary health care services, including immunisations, Well Baby clinics and reproductive health care.

The role requires SANC registration, a nursing diploma or degree, and at least three years of diverse nursing experience. You will handle clinical admin, stock, phlebotomy and health outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with SANC registration is required.
• Diploma or degree in nursing is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in broad nursing fields (community health, PHC, midwifery).

Responsibilities

• Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines.
• Provide lifestyle management screening tests.
• Conduct Well Baby clinics, including immunisations and baby health monitoring.
• Offer and provide reproductive health services.
• Provide adult immunisations.
• Provide Primary Health Care (minor ailments and wound care).
• Render a Phlebotomy service.
• Compile professional, stock and financial management reports.
• Manage medical waste and maintain a safe environment.

• Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines
• Provide lifestyle management screening tests
• Conduct “Well Baby” clinics, including health immunisations and baby health monitoring
• Offer and provide reproductive health services
• Provide adult immunisations
• Provide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound care
• Render a Phlebotomy Service
• Compile professional, stock and financial management reports
• Manage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken
• Manage adverse events and emergencies
• Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate
• Plan and implement “Health Days” and other projects
• Develop health professional networks

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registration as Professional Nurse
• 3 year diploma in nursing or the 4 year degree
• A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and Midwifery

• Ensures patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on an electronic system
• Administration and reporting to ensure efficient running of the clinic as per company policy and processes

• Manages, monitors and orders clinic services stock and equipment, along with prevention of loss and shrinkage and monitoring cold chain
