MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Nursing Manager leads and directs the nursing service in the hospital, including patient safety, patient experience, and the management of human and other resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  1. Compile, implement, and monitor the hospital-specific nursing strategy
  2. Drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety
  3. Manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency
  4. Manage the patient experience
  5. Lead and manage people in the nursing department
  6. Manage key stakeholder relations
Required Education
  • ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Professional Nurse qualification with Midwifery and Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management or an Accredited Management Qualification. Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing when managing a specialist hospital (e.g., Mental Healthcare).
