Job Title: Responsible for the day-to-day running of the different clinic sites.
Responsibilities include ordering stock, counselling, managing chronic conditions, minor ailments, referrals, fitness for work assessments, and injury on duty management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Client Service Delivery and Quality: Follow procedures, cooperate with peers and leaders to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance; adhere to operational risk and governance frameworks; contribute to cost savings.
- Operating Model: Collaborate with team members to meet delivery objectives, resolve performance issues, and support operational targets.
- Client Support: Provide telephonic and written counselling, education, and support to high-risk or long-term illness clients to reduce hospital admissions.
- Administration: Complete case documentation accurately and timely; handle medical and claim-related fund queries.
- High-Risk Patient Management: Identify and refer high-risk patients to appropriate professionals.
- Operational Strategy: Stay updated on operational changes; implement continuous improvement practices.
- Leadership & Development: Deliver performance within human capital policies; engage in coaching, mentoring, and diversity initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships, manage complaints, and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Position-Specific Tasks: Manage Occupational Health and Wellness programs, monitor employee health, facilitate health initiatives, and provide reports.
- Medical and Health Assessments: Conduct fitness evaluations, manage injuries and emergencies, monitor chronic diseases, and oversee immunization campaigns.
- Administrative and Operational Management: Execute stock control, manage service level agreements, and ensure effective budgeting and administration.
- Occupational Health Responsibilities: Conduct surveillance, implement health programs, and investigate occupational incidents and diseases.

Experience & Qualifications:
3-4 years in hospitals and onsite clinics.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing Science with additional qualification in Occupational Health Nursing and licensing.
Membership: South African Nursing Council (SANC), Registered Nurses and Midwives.
