NT Health manages the Northern Territory public health system, operating across 5 service delivery regions, 6 hospitals, 74 health clinics, and 7 corporate offices.

We work together as one system in partnership with individuals, families, the community, Aboriginal health organisations, and stakeholders to provide high quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver primary healthcare services to remote areas within the Barkly Region in the Northern Territory.
  • Provide emergency care and play a vital role in enhancing health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and their families residing in the remote communities of the Barkly Region.
  • Apply specialist knowledge, skills, attributes, and abilities within a defined practice area in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
  • Provide sound professional advice and be responsible for assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination of comprehensive client care and/or case management within the specialty area.
Qualifications

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for registration is required.
