Nuclear Medicine Physician Position

TheraMed Nuclear @Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital, Cape Town

Overview

A full-time position for a Nuclear Medicine Physician is available at the new nuclear medicine practice at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital. The practice will expand on the existing nuclear medicine services at Life Vincent Pallotti with establishment of a new PET-CT unit.

Practice Details

Digital PETCT and SPECTCT capabilities

Nuclear medicine therapies (Lutetium, iodine, actinium)

Position Requirements

Minimum 12 months experience in PETCT and nuclear medicine post qualification

Proficiency in nuclear medicine therapies

Ability to establish and maintain referral networks

Residence in Cape Town or surrounds

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Oversee the nuclear medicine and PET-CT practice in conjunction with the partners

Collaborate with radiology partners

Contribute to practice development

Engage with referring physicians and community (multi-disciplinary meetings etc)

Ensure delivery of high-quality nuclear medicine services
