POSITION/TITLE : NSA MANAGER RETAIL STRATEGY

GRADE : EVP- 6

SECTION : SALES AND MARKETING

DEPARTMENT : SALES

PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

The purpose of the Retail Strategy Manager is to ensure that we are achieving retail and wholesale objectives through doing business better both long and short term.

QUALIFICATIONS And EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum qualification: National Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or any related qualification
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in the Automotive industry

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Sales Strategy

  • Evaluation of market conditions based on internal reports and dealer and field force interaction to ensure that the sales strategy is abreast of the latest sales trends and techniques.
  • Monthly Evaluation and streamlining of reforecasts provided by Sales Planning and rigorously debating and discussing retail forecast numbers that are challenging and achievable throughout the sales chain from NSA to Dealer by Model and agree them with dealers and regional Sales team.
  • Support the creation of Dealer Campaigns for SAF dealers through engagement with Product Marketing, Comms, Field force to create demand and convert the demand to retail.
  • Support Product Team with Sales Funnel Activity on Core Models for analysis and identify opportunities to increase Sales.
  • Creation and maintenance of accurate Sales dashboards for tracking of key Sales KPI’s and maintaining of dashboards for real-time progress sharing at any point in time. Including tracking of action items and Strategic projects.
  • Participate in all Cross Functional Team Meetings for preparation of Vehicle Launches and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Support with the quarterly Incentive schemes and pay-outs to ensure a successful Salesman retention programme.
  • Support the creation of Salesman Incentives, Tracking spend and any dealer related queries.

Field Force Support

  • Support the Regional Team with all Sales related queries and ad-hoc reports.
  • Support with any other ad-hoc requests/reports from the Regional Team.

Market Interaction and Communication:

  • Creation of Quarterly Dealer Targets and alignment with Regional Team
  • Creation of Sales bulletins
  • Validation for Standardization of all dealer bulletins.
  • Dealer Sales Tools and KPI tracking, Influencing and Management
  • Continuous improvement of Data Quality and Accuracy

Adhoc projects

  • The sales strategy manager may be required to manage relevant projects for the achievement of his/her core goals.
  • Current projects being:
  • Sales Funnel Data Improvement
  • Dealer Data Quality Improvement
  • Sales Tracker Process Improvement.
