Key Outputs
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and its implementation within a matrix business environment.
- Proficiency in electronic systems and technologies.
- Ability to create 'functional integration' within the Procurement Department.
- Partnering with qualifying members of the organization's cellphone account to ensure quality service.
- Excellent client service orientation and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Financial and Microsoft Office skills to support procurement functions.
- Obtain quotations and tenders for goods and services.
- Create and generate purchase requisitions, orders, and GRNs.
- Assist with the tendering process and processing of payments.
- Ensure assets and risks are adequately insured and handle insurance claims.
- Maintain all aspects of the cellphone account and arrange courier services.
Personality (Skills, Knowledge & Attributes)
- Recognized Grade 12 certificate.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in procurement or financial environments, preferably in the public sector.
- Experience with AI, Syspro, and Excel is strongly recommended.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement is advantageous.
- A collaborative style and good consulting skills are beneficial.
