Key Outputs

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and its implementation within a matrix business environment.
• Proficiency in electronic systems and technologies.
• Ability to create 'functional integration' within the Procurement Department.
• Partnering with qualifying members of the organization's cellphone account to ensure quality service.
• Excellent client service orientation and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Financial and Microsoft Office skills to support procurement functions.
• Obtain quotations and tenders for goods and services.
• Create and generate purchase requisitions, orders, and GRNs.
• Assist with the tendering process and processing of payments.
• Ensure assets and risks are adequately insured and handle insurance claims.
• Maintain all aspects of the cellphone account and arrange courier services.

Personality (Skills, Knowledge & Attributes)

• Recognized Grade 12 certificate.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in procurement or financial environments, preferably in the public sector.
• Experience with AI, Syspro, and Excel is strongly recommended.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement is advantageous.
• A collaborative style and good consulting skills are beneficial.
