Placements24 is seeking a specialized Machine Learning Engineer focusing on NLP to join our R&D team in Klerksdorp. You will design, train and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models tackling sentiment analysis, text summarization, chatbots and more.

You will work with Python and libraries like spaCy, NLTK and Hugging Face, using TensorFlow or PyTorch, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready language AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional ML experience with a strong NLP focus.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of language modeling and sequence-to-sequence models.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models for various applications.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data, extracting meaningful insights.
• Develop and fine-tune language models for tasks such as classification, NER, and translation.
• Implement and optimize NLP algorithms for performance and scalability in production.
