Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced AI Solutions Architect in Welkom, Free State, to lead the design and implementation of NLP-driven AI systems for diverse clients. This hybrid role requires deep NLP expertise, strong Python and ML framework skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS/AI/Computational Linguistics or related field required.
• 6+ years in AI/ML with a strong NLP focus.
• Experience designing and architecting enterprise AI solutions.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solutions with NLP capabilities.
• Gather client requirements and translate into technical specifications.
• Translate complex problems into detailed system designs.
• Lead NLP model development and pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Evaluate and select AI/ML technologies and tools for client projects.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams throughout projects.
• Conduct proofs-of-concept to demonstrate value of AI solutions.
• Develop documentation including architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
• Stay updated on NLP and AI advancements.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices.
