Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in nursing is required.

• Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a Professional Nurse.
• 2–3 years management experience at unit level preferred.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Please note that this is a leadership role within our nursing management team where you need to lead and manage the our hospital during Night Shifts.

To ensure continuous safe patient care and a positive patient experience by coordinating clinical and non-clinical resources and services at night.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : B degree or diploma in nursing

DESIRED EDUCATION: Relevant Management and leadership qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 yrs clinical experience as a Professional Nurse

DESIRED EXPERIENCE 2 to 3 yrs management experience at the unit level (SPN/UM)

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Continuously deliver a quality service to patients in accordance with patient safety standards

Achieve the clinical quality standards according to policies and procedures

Ensure the optimal utilisation and competence of staff whose behaviour reflects the organisation’s core values
