Qualifications

• Honours or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biochemistry, Computational Biology or Bioinformatics with AI/ML experience.
• Foundational understanding of core molecular biology and assay principles to comprehend workflows.
• Proven ability to write Python code for data processing, automation, or tool development.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python pipelines and LLM agent workflows to analyze dense technical specifications, literature, and SOPs for assay design.
• Create automated verification checks to ensure AI outputs match biological evidence and data attribution.
• Evaluate scientific documents, NGS criteria, and reagent performance using computational tools.
• Design prompts and automated tests to evaluate AI tool performance on real-world examples.
• Collaborate with assay development scientists to translate requirements into AI utilities.
• Maintain R&D documentation, code architecture, testing outcomes, and analysis reports.
