Our client, a leading and well-respected Group, is on the hunt for an experienced New Car Sales Manager who would like to drive their career forward.

The successful candidate will be responsible to plan, execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities for the vehicle brand. To lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales Team to achieve or exceed sales objectives with respect to customer requirements, workflow processes, systems and related activities and ensures compliance with the company’s financial and OEM requirements. Successfully meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Maintain a supportive relationship with the customer, ensure that the customer's needs and service requirements are met. Ensuring the continuous promotion of sustainable growth and profit, through the development of innovative and new solutions.

Remuneration :

Market related, depending on experience plus performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Company Vehicle and Fuel and Cell Phone Allowance

Duties include

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Exceed customer expectations through effective planning and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
  • Drive customer service excellence in alignment with CSI and brand targets.
  • Oversee and utilise CRM systems to manage client data and interactions.
  • Analyse customer and competitor behaviours and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Implement benchmark service practices and foster a customer-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and governance requirements (FICA, POPIA, CPA, etc.).
  • Support dealership budgeting and monitor performance against financial goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and align team members with business objectives.
  • Champion an ethical, productive, and high-performance work culture.

Requirements :

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential; National Diploma or Degree in Business Management or equivalent is advantageous.
  • 5–10 years in the motor industry, preferably at dealership level.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle sales (new and used), aftersales, and F&I operations.
  • National OEM experience is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the motor industry regulatory framework and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and at least one local language.
  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
  • Preferably based in or near the East Rand.
