Our client, an established and busy dealership in Durban, is seeking to employ a NEW VEHICLE SALES EXECUTIVE who is self-motivated, friendly, and hardworking.

The Sales Executive should not depend on leads from the Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be required to achieve daily and monthly sales and activity targets, attend training, and participate in functions with both the company and the manufacturer.

Must be ambitious, energetic, and determined to succeed.

Position Details:
  • Industry: Automotive
  • Location: Durban
  • Salary: Basic dependent on experience, plus commission and MIBCO benefits (no medical aid contribution)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a VW dealership, experience in a high volume dealership
Minimum Requirements:
  • Senior Certificate
  • Valid South African Driver's License
  • VW International Sales Executive Certification
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take instructions and complete tasks
  • Work independently
  • Take initiative without overstepping boundaries
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting new clients daily (advertising is done by the company; additional advertising by the sales executive is beneficial)
  • Demos and test drives with potential clients
  • Preparing vehicles for delivery
  • Opening deal folders
  • Needs analysis
  • Assisting with F&I to ensure all documents are correct
  • Delivering vehicles in a dynamic manner
