We're looking for an Accounts Payable / Receivable Assistant who thrives in managing the details and enjoys making sure everything lines up just right. You're someone who knows the ins and outs of accounts payable and receivable, and you take pride in keeping things clean, accurate, and running smoothly.
This role isn't just about processing transactions - it's about ensuring our business can grow and operate smoothly, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, clients, and your fellow members of our team. You'll be making a real difference every day.
In this role, you will:
Process vendor invoices, customer billing, and payment prep using SAP Business One and Excel.
Enhance cash flow management by proactively performing timely invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Communicate professionally with vendors, customers and internal teams
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Reduce errors and manage financial risk through best practices
Support the business as it scales and financial operations expand.
You're a detail-oriented, proactive communicator who owns their work and isn't afraid to speak up or ask questions.
You stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines with confidence, and understand how your role fits into the bigger picture.
You're collaborative, ethical, and always looking for ways to make things better - not just easier. Most importantly, you care about your work and the people you work with.
Working Hours : This is a full-time role with flexible working hours. Ideally, we'd love 2-3 hour overlap with US Eastern time, between 9am - 11am EST.
Requirements
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
2 years + experience as in a similar role.
Experience working remote for an international or US based Business.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with high-volume transaction processing
Experience working in accounting or ERP systems like Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP
Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables)
Brownie points for:
A degree in Accounting or significant hands-on experience in a similar role
Benefits
What's in it for you?
Salary : $2,000 to $2,200 per month*
Full-time : Fully Remote + Flexible working hours
Paid Time Off : 20 days per year.
