New Vehicle Sales Executive - Gauteng, Edenvale

Our client, a leading and well-respected franchise is looking to employ a talented individual to fulfil the role of New Car Sales Executive.

As a New Car Sales Executive, you'll serve as a brand ambassador, maximizing sales opportunities with an emphasis on profitability and customer satisfaction. Your main objective will be to consistently meet and surpass monthly sales targets

Remuneration :

Market related plus competitive performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Company Vehicle and Fuel Allowance

Duties include

  • Sell the maximum number of new cars
  • Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships.
  • Exceed customer expectations through timely delivery of quality products / services.
  • Resolve customer queries to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet and surpass brand and CSI (Customer Service Index) targets.
  • Manage leads and client relationships using CMS / Dealer Management Systems.
  • Stay updated on evolving customer needs and adapt with innovation.
  • Drive business growth through targeted sales strategies.
  • Achieve OEM and Group vehicle sales targets.
  • Support Parts, Service & F&I teams to meet dealership KPIs.
  • Foster strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Innovate and implement new sales techniques.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and deal file quality.
  • Understand and promote product specs, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Analyse customer, market, and competitor behaviour; adjust sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (FICA, FAIS, CPA, POPIA).
  • Uphold the company’s image, brand, and ethical standards at all times.

Requirements :

  • Must have min 5-10 years Automotive Car Sales experience at a franchise dealership – preferably, VW, Ford, Toyota, Suzuki, Chery.
  • Experience in new & used car sales, aftersales, F&I, and financial parameters.
  • OEM liaison at national level.
  • Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder network.
  • Relevant National diploma / degree / Equivalent.
  • Knowledge of FICA, FAIS, CPA, and related legislation.
  • Proficient in MS Office, social media, and dealer systems (CMS or similar).
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans (additional local language an advantage).
  • Based in or near East Rand preferred.
  • Clear background checks essential.
