Job description

New Business Executive - Commercial

Area : Stellenbosch or Sandton, Gauteng

Salary : R50000 p / m (Includes medical aid & provident fund) plus Commission 15%; petrol, cell phone, data (home Wi-Fi)

Purpose of the position : To source and sign new clients in order to grow the business.

Duties :

Identify and arrange meetings with prospective new clients

Provide accurate information to clients through understanding the business

Regular new client interactions and documented outcomes / discussions (New Business list)

Meeting FAIS requirements in terms of documentation and client record of advice

Manage and facilitate communication and co-operation with the relevant team members to maximise the quality and probability of success in client pitches.

Project manage all aspects of the new business process from lead generation to client pitch.

Work with the relevant business to ensure the smooth onboarding and integration of the client

Working closely with the Marketing team to align the overall marketing strategy to the specific new business strategy.

Manage and maintain a pipeline new business prospects and targets

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients, colleagues and the market

Skills, qualifications and experience

Qualified FAIS representative for client advice (RE5)

Relevant financial or insurance related qualification preferred

Minimum of 5 years short term insurance industry experience.

Direct new business development experience preferred

Comfortable to converse with C Suite level clients
