Ecowize is looking for an experienced New Business Development & Technical Consultant to join the Industrial Washing Systems and Brushware (Products) division in the Western Cape. If you have a passion for sales and proven experience in the hygiene industry, this position is for you.

The purpose of the New Business Development & Technical Consultant is to implement business development strategies that focus on financial gain and onboarding new customers. The successful incumbent will be responsible for all duties that drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and establishing strong relationships with customers.

High-level Objectives :

  • Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
  • Promote the company’s products.
  • Achieve daily and weekly call ratios to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Focus on new business development in Food industry sectors.
  • Meet sales targets by developing and implementing growth strategies for specific market segments.
  • Build and expand a customer database, with weekly and monthly targets.
  • Conduct client site surveys and provide tailored solutions.
  • Report customer needs and issues to management.
  • Negotiate sales and close deals.
  • Handle invoicing and payments.
  • Handover new contracts to operations.
  • Follow up with after-sales service to enhance customer value.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality.
  • Provide customer product training when necessary.
  • Present reports on sales trends, customer growth, and issues.
