Job description

Our client, a leading hygiene and sanitation solutions provider, is seeking a New Business Development & Technical Consultant to join their Brushware business in Gauteng. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business development.

The ideal candidate will have experience calling on manufacturing, agricultural, and food processing sectors.

Duties :
  1. Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
  2. Promote the company's products.
  3. Achieve daily and weekly call ratios to meet targets.
  4. Manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, and product and service analysis.
  5. Improve and maintain service standards.
  6. Build market position by establishing and closing business relationships with new customers.
  7. Assist with implementing strategies and plans.
  8. Create and present sales strategies.
  9. Follow up with active and prospective clients through regular meetings.
  10. Develop and manage your own customer database.
  11. Negotiate sales and close business deals.
  12. Initiate invoicing and payments.
  13. Handle the handover of new contracts to operations.
  14. Send weekly and monthly reports to the Line Manager.
Requirements
  • Previous sales experience
  • Hunter personality
  • General business exposure
  • Experience in hygiene and cleaning chemicals is preferable, but candidates with experience in selling pumps or pressure hoses will also be considered.
  • Excellent client relationship-building skills

Compensation: CTC R25K - R35K, plus commission and provident fund.
