Our client sells a global leading GRC SaaS solution which empowers more than 1 million users globally.

The New Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth through prospect and customer meetings, pipeline creation, and commercial deal management.

The role will focus predominantly on enterprise clients within the private sector.

This individual contributor role will drive growth primarily through the sales cycle, from effective customer prospecting and pipeline management to accurate forecasting and deal closure.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, commercially focused, and has a proven track record in influencing, negotiating, and closing deals. Reporting to: Head of Revenue (RSA). Working environment & travel: Exceptionally busy, team-oriented environment.

Driver's license and own transport are essential. Working hours: 07h30 – 16h00, 08h00 to 16h30, or 08h30 to 17h00 (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate a qualified new business pipeline through cold-calling and other proven techniques.
  2. Utilise strategic, proven sales methodologies to convert new business opportunities into software sales.
  3. Prepare business cases, proposals, tender responses, presentations, and sales contracts.
  4. Maintain accurate sales activity reports, including follow-ups, closings, and target adherence.
  5. Ensure CRM system (Salesforce) is updated with all necessary information.
  6. Adopt a 'solutions' selling approach, focusing on customer needs rather than just features.
  7. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure.
  8. Increase industry knowledge to educate clients and create awareness.
  9. Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge to effectively communicate the benefits of the solution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets in enterprise software sales.

Salary is negotiable plus commission.
