Job summary
Vodacom is seeking a Network Analyst to analyse mobile network performance, customer experience, and competitive benchmark information. Qualifications
- 2–3 years of mobile network experience, or internship/graduate program.
- 3-year Degree/Diploma, or equivalent.
- Field of study in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent engineering/technical qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Analyse mobile network performance by collecting, validating, and interpreting data from drive tests, crowdsource platforms, OSS systems, and customer experience tools.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking across mobile operators to assess Vodacom's market position and identify performance gaps, strengths, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor customer experience performance through NPS, CEM, probing systems, and simulated customer experience measurements to identify service quality issues and trends.
- Identify and recommend remedial actions to address network performance deficiencies and customer experience challenges, working closely with relevant technology teams.
- Support the planning, execution, and quality management of benchmarking and drive testing programmes to ensure accurate data collection and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations that provide actionable insights to Technology, Commercial, and Vodafone Group stakeholders.
- Track and report on network improvement initiatives, measuring the effectiveness of optimisation activities and the closure of identified performance gaps.
- Manage third‑party suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to SLAs, delivery timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Drive data quality, governance, and process automation to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of analytical and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including RAN, Core, Transmission, Service Assurance, and Customer Experience functions to support data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement of network quality.
