Network Security, CCNA, CCNP, F5, LAN, WAN

Description:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks, including LANs, WANs, the Internet, intranets, and other data communication systems. Develops, tests, and evaluates network solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and frameworks.
2. Assist in developing network bill of materials and statements of work for customer quotes.
3. Design, test, and inspect data communication systems.
4. Perform network design, analysis, and planning.
5. Translate technical network solutions into a roadmap of changes for network engineers, minimizing business risk.
6. Communicate technical solutions in understandable language for customer leadership.
7. Access network devices, review configurations, and validate designs developed by the Architect.
8. Support hardware installation tasks onsite, including cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adapters, as needed.
9. Configure network devices and install network drivers.
10. Collaborate with vendors and customer architects on network software functions.
11. Develop test plans, implementation strategies, and project timelines.
12. Manage relationships with technology vendors and customers.
13. Stay informed about technological infrastructure impacts and industry trends.
14. Write functional requirements and specifications, acting as a subject matter expert.
15. Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve network issues.
16. Upgrade network hardware and software components as needed.
17. Resolve complex problems involving multiple variables.
18. Willing to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, as required, with travel limited to business needs.
19. Support after-hours network implementations as needed.
20. This is a fully remote position unless travel to client sites is required.
