We’re looking for a sharp-thinking Network and Security Engineer to join our dynamic IT team and help drive infrastructure resilience, security, and uptime across our digital ecosystem.

Your Role

1. Installation and Configuration: Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.
2. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues, identify problems, and implement solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
3. Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and capacity, using tools to track uptime, latency, and other performance indicators.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, installations, and troubleshooting steps.
5. Collaboration: Work with other team members, including senior engineers, to support network solutions.
6. Security: Assist with developing and implementing network security procedures. Understanding and experience with NDR & DLP Solutions.
7. Support: Provide general, entry-level support to the engineering department.
8. Learning: Stay updated on networking technologies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

1. Matric
2. IT Diploma or relevant certifications i.e. CompTIA Network+ and CCNA, Fortinet Certificate would be advantageous.
3. Minimum of a year's relevant experience gained.
4. Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of network concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.), and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
5. Excellent Communication skills.
6. Clear Criminal Record.
