Job description

The Network Administrator is responsible for the full lifecycle management of the organization's network infrastructure, including planning, implementation, maintenance, capacity planning, reporting, security, and design. This role demands a strong focus on ensuring network availability, performance, and security across all network segments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet technologies, and a proven track record in managing complex network environments.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• MCSE and CCNA qualifications are essential
• Relevant degree/diploma in Computer Science, BCom Informatics, or a related field is advantageous
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator
• Proven experience in administering switches, routers, and firewalls in a disaster recovery context
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Expertise in Routing & Switching
• Extensive experience with Cisco (Networks, Cisco Network Security)
• Extensive experience with Aruba (WiFi, Aruba Clearpass)
• Extensive experience with Fortinet (Firewall, Fortinet SDWAN, Fortinet Manager, Fortinet Analyzer)
• Experience with VoIP telephony
• Experience with IPSEC Tunnels
• Experience with Cloud-based printing solutions
