Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to take ownership of a modern, cloud-ready software platform that supports a nationally deployed, mission-critical service. You will work in an Agile environment with a focus on C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial software development experience, proficiency in .NET 6+/NET 8, and experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required or strong commercial portfolio in lieu of degree.

.Net Developer

Weare looking for an experienced .NET Developer to take ownership of amodern, cloud-ready software platform that supports a nationally deployed,mission-critical service .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field (strong commercial portfolio may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  
• Proficiency in modern .NET ( version 6 or later, including.NET 8 ) – essential
  
• 5 or more years of commercial software development experience using C# and the .NET framework, with a track record of delivering and maintaining production systems
  
• Strong practical experience with ASP.NET Core and RESTful API design (APIs consumed by web, mobile and third-party clients)
  
• Solid experience with relational databases – PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server – including schema design, query optimization and Entity Framework Core
  
• Proficiency with Git-based version control (branching strategies, pull requests) and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum and experienced at onboarding to existing codebases through documentation, code reading and structured handover
  
• Advantageous: experience with cloud-hosted / cloud-native environments, particularly AWS (EC2, RDS, S3 or equivalent) is advantageous.
  
• Proficiencywith Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, pullrequest reviews, and working within a CI/CD pipeline
  
• Comfortableworking within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, and experienced in onboardingto existing codebases through documentation review, code reading, andstructured handover processes
