About the Role:
Reporting to the Poultry Business Unit Manager, the NationalVeterinary Services Manager – Poultry is responsible for implementingand adapting the Veterinary Services Strategy at a local level, drivingtechnical excellence, and supporting Marketing, Customer Services, and Salesteams across the Business Unit.
Key Accountabilities:
Product Leadership:
- Driveinternal and external confidence in Ceva's product portfolio
- Co-developthe local Business Plans for Key Accounts, aligned to Global and Zonestrategy
- Ensureveterinary activities are aligned with Corporate Strategic/Key AccountManagement and Marketing strategies
- Gatherand relay local technical data to adapt Key Account Business Plans and supportCeva’s products
- Publishtechnical articles with local data
Customer Relationships & Market Penetration:
- Buildand strengthen relationships with key customers through value-drivenengagement
- Conductregular Key Customer visits and professional consultations
- Activelyparticipate in Key Account discovery processes and serve as a trustedmarket contact
- Activelyassist the sales team to differentiate Ceva’s products and drive marketshare growth.
Customer Guidance & Technical Advice:
- Respondpromptly to customer troubleshooting needs; schedule visits and resolveissues efficiently
- Providetechnical and scientific advice to customers and Sales personnel
- Deliver expert diagnoses andparticipate in Business Reviews and Pulse Meetings with Key Customers
- Training, Education & Knowledge Management
- AttendCorporate-led training, congresses, seminars, and industry events
- Maintainhigh levels of expertise through continuous self-development
- Defineand execute Veterinary Services Training Plans for the local Business Unit
- Developand deliver technical training programmes for KeyCustomers
Customer Feedback & Reporting:
- Designand manage customer trials
- Gather insights from Veterinary ServicesSpecialists/technicians and Key Customers
- Consolidateand share market intelligence with local and corporate teams
- Reporton monitoring protocols and trial results; store information for futureprojects
Scientific Expertise & Networking:
- Buildand nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers toamplify Ceva's scientific messaging
- Identifyrising influencers to foster future strategic relationships
- Supportlocal Marketing and Sales teams as subject matter expert on range-relateddiseases
Team Management:
- Lead,develop, and manage the local Veterinary Services team as required
Yourprofile :
Qualifications & Experience needed:
Education:BVSc Degree in Veterinary Science (Qualified Veterinarian)
Experience: Minimum 3 years in the poultry industry
Preferred: Experience in poultry production, pharmaceutical industry, or intensive agricultural production
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong communication, presentation and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of the poultry market and strong business acumen
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively
