National Sales Managers lead sales activities on a national scale, driving revenue growth and aligning sales strategies. Our client is seeking a National Sales Manager to oversee sales activities at both national and export levels, coordinating strategies to meet business objectives. The role requires strong leadership in managing regional and export sales teams to ensure consistent performance and market presence. The National Sales Manager plays a crucial role in expanding market reach, achieving revenue targets, and enhancing brand visibility.

Candidates must possess strategic vision, the ability to develop cohesive sales strategies targeting national and export customer segments, and a competitive edge in these markets. Skills in analyzing market competitiveness, collaborating with marketing and training departments, and supporting business growth are essential.

Job Brief : We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and driven National Sales Manager to lead the sales function nationally and in export markets, developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.

Main Responsibilities include :

  • Driving sales objectives and achieving budgets and targets
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing sales team
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers, up-selling to existing clients
  • Establishing strong relationships with key accounts
  • Ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning
  • Preparing sales forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating with teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities, collaborating with marketing to develop response strategies
  • Gaining experience and understanding of export markets
  • Utilizing CRM data to support sales outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Supporting Regional Sales Managers to excel and think creatively
  • Developing KPIs to enhance sales efficiency
  • Interpreting data and market insights for strategic decisions
  • Aligning sales and other departments within the organization
  • Focusing on customer satisfaction and business success
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements domestically and internationally
  • Following ethical marketing and sales practices per SAMED code
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Based in Gauteng.
