A leading company in the security technology sector is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, particularly within the private security sector, and a proven track record in business development. Responsibilities include managing a sales team, preparing proposals, and closing deals to drive growth and client satisfaction. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to travel extensively for business.

Experience within the Private Security Sector essential.
Effective management of sales and sales management within the integrated business unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
PURPOSE: Closing large technology deals, e.g.,
Managing a team of security tech sales professionals.
Sales management of all system design and related integration of security systems.
Setting targets, sales strategies, budgets, and performance metrics.
Monthly reporting to executive management.
Attending meetings with new and existing business prospects, in conjunction with operational and sales teams, to tailor integrated solutions suited to clients.
Conducting or arranging site surveys to identify risks and develop appropriate solutions.
Preparing and submitting sales proposals and tenders to prospective clients.
Preparing and delivering sales presentations (advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills essential).
Performing sales and marketing administrative functions effectively.
Coordinating public relations activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, company-sponsored events, and managing corporate gifts and branded items.
Providing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports on sales and marketing activities.
Preparing and submitting monthly reports to management, including information on new and lost business, organic growth, etc.
Staying informed about sales activities, competitors, and client needs, and advising management accordingly.
Managing the tech sales team.
Travel to other provinces may be required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience.
Sales, marketing, or technical qualification advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in integrated services sales, including system design and integration.
Proven track record in business development and successfully closing deals.
Relevant knowledge and experience in selling technical solutions, especially new and innovative options.
Excellent communication and customer satisfaction skills.
Strong leadership, time management, initiative, and administrative skills.
Target-driven, well-presented, and professional.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Clean disciplinary, credit, and criminal record.
Ability to travel extensively for business.
Proven ability to manage a sales team to meet or exceed targets.
PSIRA certification preferred.
